President Trump recently shared news about his youngest son Barron as he prepares for his sophomore year at a satellite campus of New York University in Washington, DC.
In late August, Trump enjoyed a day of golfing with his granddaughter Kai Trump, 18. While they were on the course, Kai captured their golfing experience on video, asking her grandfather various intriguing questions about his time in the White House and personal matters.
Kai inquired about how Barron, 19, was adjusting to life at NYU, just days prior to the announcement that he would be moving into the White House to attend a secondary campus for the fall semester.
“He’s doing great. He’s a really good boy. He loves you, and he told me to say, ‘hello’ to you, Kai,” Trump mentioned.
Trump continued, recounting, “I told Barron, ‘Why don’t you come and watch us?’ He’s just adorable.”
Barron seldom appears in public with his family and has mostly remained private since he began his educational journey at NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Insights into Barron, particularly his preference for tennis over golf, come primarily from his father’s anecdotes.
Trump has suggested that Barron is active behind the scenes, playing a role in strategizing how to attract the youth vote through various podcast appearances as the 2024 presidential election approaches.
The first son is hard at work pursuing new opportunities, including plans to launch a luxury real estate company in January 2025 and reportedly generating millions in cryptocurrency gains this past June.
Recently, Jake Advent, the president’s former social media manager, floated the idea of appointing Barron to TikTok’s board.
Trump has commended Barron for his “technological aptitude” on several occasions.
