President Trump is set to advocate for the United States as a bulwark of Western civilization while criticizing the shortcomings of globalism in his landmark address at the United Nations General Assembly this Tuesday.

<pThe president, who will step up to the podium before an audience of global leaders at 10 a.m. in Manhattan, aims to emphasize his administration's commitment to global peace through a resurgence of American strength, according to a White House spokesperson who spoke to The Post.

Trump is anticipated to critique various aspects of globalism, including mass migration trends, global climate initiatives, and the risks that globalist ideologies present to prosperous nations.

He will also draw attention to the achievements of Operation Midnight Hammer, which involved US military actions against nuclear sites in Iran, as well as ongoing airstrikes targeting alleged drug traffickers from Venezuela in the Caribbean region, as reported by the official.

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio articulated on Fox and Friends that Trump needs to call out the UN for not fulfilling its potential in its 80 years of operation.

“Why does the UN, an organization with vast potential, still underperform? It has the capability to effectuate positive change globally, yet it isn’t achieving that. Thus, I believe the President will challenge the UN to clarify its purpose and utility as a governing body,” he remarked.

Rubio added that the international organization “appears to be ineffective” despite significant financial investment.

“It really highlights the ineffectiveness of the UN as an institution,” Rubio stated.

The Secretary asserted that the UN primarily serves as an annual stage for representatives of numerous countries to share speeches without resulting in substantial outcomes.

“Very little significant action is taking place. The UN has immense potential but is currently failing to deliver on that promise.”
