Trump Tried To Cover Up Alex Pretti's Death And It Was A Disaster

In a shocking twist, Republicans are distancing themselves from former President Trump following the tragic incident involving Alex Pretti, who was fatally shot by border patrol agents in Minneapolis. The critical detail? Pretti was a licensed gun owner, legally permitted to carry a concealed weapon.

In a startling interpretation of the Second Amendment, the Trump administration has used Pretti’s lawful exercise of his gun rights as a rationale for the deadly confrontation.

The Trump administration’s narrative has essentially stomped on the principles of the Second Amendment. Footage from the incident reveals that Pretti was not brandishing his firearm nor posing a threat. Instead, he was attempting to assist a woman who had fallen when he was confronted and subsequently assaulted by border patrol agents, who disarmed him before tragically taking his life.

In an ironic turn of events, Trump has opted to point fingers at the very tool that embodies the rights he professes to champion. In a press briefing before his departure for Iowa, he stated, “You can’t have guns. You can’t walk in with a gun. You can’t do that.”

In just two sentences, Trump managed to shift blame onto the victim while undermining the very essence of the Second Amendment.

In a predictably troubling development, Trump has already concluded that Pretti bears responsibility for the actions of border patrol agents, leading to a not-so-surprising follow-up.
