Trump Desperately Tries to Change the Subject Amid Epstein Scandal
As the Jeffrey Epstein case continues to make headlines, President Trump has been accused of trying to distract the public from his ties to the late sex predator. One user on social media claimed, “We are reaching heretofore unseen levels of trying to change the subject.”
Trump’s attempts at distraction have not gone unnoticed, with one person commenting, “He makes no sense!”
Recent focus has been on Trump’s “mental decline,” particularly during his recent visit to Scotland. During a press conference, Trump discussed a range of topics, including Epstein and windmills.
On July 28, Trump addressed reporters and denied ever visiting Epstein’s private island. He also took the opportunity to call out former president Bill Clinton, stating, “I never went to the island, and Bill Clinton went there supposedly 28 times. I never went to the island, but Larry Summers, I hear, went there; he was the head of Harvard. And many other people that are very big people, nobody ever talks about them.”
Trump’s comments have only added fuel to the fire surrounding his connections to Epstein and have raised questions about his credibility and motives in addressing the scandal.
