The UEFA Women’s Champions League has found a new broadcasting home on Paramount+ for the next five years, extending through the 2029-2030 season. CBS Sports secured the exclusive English-language rights for the tournament in a deal announced over the weekend. This agreement further solidifies Paramount+ as the central hub for all UEFA club competitions until the end of the decade.

Starting with the 2025-2026 season, fans can catch all the action from the UWCL on Paramount+. The revamped format will see 18 clubs competing in the initial league phase, followed by a newly introduced knockout phase playoff round, culminating in the prestigious UEFA Women’s Champions League final. Paramount+ will live stream CBS Sports’ coverage of all 75 matches each season, with select games also airing on CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo Network.

Dan Weinberg, Executive Vice President of Programming at CBS Sports, expressed his excitement about the new addition to their premium soccer portfolio. He stated, “The UEFA Women’s Champions League with its world-class players and elite clubs adds tremendous value to CBS Sports. CBS Sports is proud to be the home of all women’s and men’s UEFA club competitions through the end of the decade, further solidifying Paramount+ as the premier destination for soccer fans.”

The inclusion of UWCL expands CBS Sports’ women’s soccer offerings, adding to Paramount+’s lineup of the NWSL Championship, select NWSL regular season matches, the Concacaf W Champions Cup, and the Concacaf W Gold Cup. Additionally, CBS properties will feature select women’s Nations League matches and women’s European friendlies.

There are numerous benefits to incorporating outdoor exercise into your fitness routine. Not only does exercising outdoors provide a change of scenery and fresh air, but it also offers a variety of physical and mental health benefits that indoor exercise simply cannot match.

One of the primary benefits of outdoor exercise is the opportunity to enjoy the natural surroundings. Whether you are running through a scenic park, hiking along a trail, or cycling through the countryside, exercising outdoors allows you to connect with nature and enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors. This can help reduce stress levels, improve mood, and increase feelings of well-being.

In addition to the mental health benefits, outdoor exercise also provides physical benefits that can improve overall fitness and well-being. Exercising outdoors can help increase your vitamin D levels, which is essential for bone health, immune function, and overall well-being. The fresh air and sunshine can also help boost your energy levels and improve your mood, making you more likely to stick with your exercise routine.

Outdoor exercise also provides a more challenging workout compared to indoor exercise. Uneven terrain, hills, and varying weather conditions can all add an extra level of difficulty to your workout, helping to improve your strength, balance, and coordination. This can help you burn more calories and build muscle more effectively than exercising indoors.

Furthermore, outdoor exercise can also help improve your cardiovascular health. Whether you are running, cycling, or hiking, outdoor activities can help strengthen your heart and lungs, improve circulation, and lower your risk of heart disease and other chronic health conditions. The fresh air and natural surroundings can also help reduce feelings of anxiety and depression, making outdoor exercise a great way to boost your mental health.

Overall, incorporating outdoor exercise into your fitness routine can provide a wide range of physical and mental health benefits. Whether you prefer running, cycling, hiking, or simply taking a walk in the park, spending time outdoors can help you improve your fitness, reduce stress, and boost your overall well-being. So next time you are looking for a new way to stay active, consider taking your workout outside and enjoy all the benefits that outdoor exercise has to offer.
