The Paris Paralympics 2024 has been an exhilarating event so far, with China continuing to dominate the medal tally. As of now, China leads with a total of 135 medals, including 62 gold, 46 silver, and 27 bronze. On the seventh day of the games, China added 20 more medals to their tally, comprising nine gold, six silver, and five bronze.

Following closely behind China is Great Britain, holding onto the second position with a total of 74 medals. On the seventh day, Great Britain secured 13 medals, including three gold, seven silver, and three bronze. The United States of America maintained their third position with a total of 63 medals after winning 10 medals on day seven, which included five gold, four silver, and a bronze.

The Netherlands made a significant leap from ninth to fourth place after securing 10 medals on the seventh day. France followed closely behind in fifth place with a total of 50 medals, consisting of 15 gold, 17 silver, and 18 bronze.

Brazil dropped to sixth place despite having 15 gold, as many silver, and 27 bronze medals. Ukraine moved up to claim the seventh spot with a total of 52 medals after winning seven medals on Wednesday. Italy descended to the eighth spot, while Australia and Spain retained their ninth and tenth positions, respectively.

Germany and Uzbekistan are placed in the next two spots with six gold medals each. India made a remarkable leap from 19th position to 13th after securing two gold medals on day seven, bringing their total to five gold, nine silver, and 10 bronze. Japan and Thailand are ranked in the following two spots, each with five gold medals.

On day seven, India’s Dharambir and Pranav Soorma delivered outstanding performances in the Men’s Club Throw – F51 event, claiming gold and silver with impressive throws. Additionally, Harvinder Singh made history by winning India’s first-ever gold medal in archery at the Paralympic Games, solidifying his legacy as a pioneer in Indian Paralympic sports.

The Paris Paralympics 2024 has showcased incredible talent and determination from athletes around the world, with each day bringing new triumphs and inspiring moments. As the games continue, we can expect more thrilling performances and unforgettable achievements from these remarkable athletes.
