US Air Force Intercepts 11th Aircraft Near Trump’s New Jersey Golf Club
On Sunday, US Air Force fighter jets intercepted yet another aircraft in restricted airspace near President Trump’s New Jersey golf club. This incident marked the 11th dangerous incursion of the weekend.
The small private aircraft were directed away from the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, with the most recent incident occurring Sunday morning, confirmed by the Air Force.
Several planes were met by F-16 fighter jets operated by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and escorted out of the airspace.
General Gregory Guillot of NORAD stated, “NORAD and the FAA work together to ensure flight safety, national security, and the President’s security in areas with Temporary Flight Restrictions.”
