During a tense on-stage incident, Usher asked a fan to exit after she declined to participate in his suggestive dance routine.
The uncomfortable moment occurred at the R&B Tour concert in Nashville on Friday, July 24. Usher, known for his hit “U Got It Bad,” 47, invited a female audience member on stage, as captured in fan footage shared on Instagram after the event.
In the clip, the shirtless performer, who is co-headlining The R&B Tour with Chris Brown, is seen serenading the fan while seated on a bed. As Usher leans in to nuzzle her neck, they both recline onto the bed, but the fan remains unresponsive and stiff.
Usher, whose full name is Usher Raymond IV, then appears to move his face closer to hers, attempting a more intimate engagement. However, the fan continues to keep her lips sealed during their exchange. Usher eventually lifts his head, glancing into her eyes before turning to the audience with a confused expression.
“I don’t think she wants to be on the stage,” Usher remarked before stepping away from the bed. He removed his earpieces and gestured for her to leave the stage entirely.
The incident sparked mixed reactions from fans who commented on the post. One fan questioned, “Why would she go up there then?” while another expressed, “I respect her.”
Another commenter noted Usher’s reaction, saying, “She killed his ego a little bit, bro ain’t used to that.”
