Vanessa Trump has voiced her support for her boyfriend, Tiger Woods, following his arrest for driving under the influence, causing property damage, and refusing a lawful test.

On Friday, April 3, Trump, 48, shared a photo of herself with Woods, 50, on her Instagram Story, captioned with “Love you” and two red heart emojis.

The couple has been romantically linked since 2024. Woods was arrested last month after his SUV was discovered overturned following a crash involving two vehicles.

Woods was briefly detained, spending eight hours in police custody before his release. Sheriff John Budensiek provided details about the charges against the golfer.

Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump connected over their shared interests in family and golf before their relationship became romantic in late 2024. Both residing in Florida, they were first seen together at a golf tournament in February 2025. Reports indicate they quietly started dating around Thanksgiving 2024, bonding over their children, who attend the same school.

During a press conference, the sheriff stated, “Our DUI investigators arrived at the scene, where Mr. Woods showed signs of impairment. Several tests were conducted. He discussed his injuries and surgeries, which were considered.”

Budensiek added, “Mr. Woods performed a breathalyzer test with triple zeros, but he refused a urinalysis test, leading to charges of DUI, property damage, and refusal to submit to a lawful test.”

He emphasized, “No matter who you are, if you break the law, we will enforce it. That’s an easy path to take.”

Tiger Woods’ arrest for driving under the influence, property damage, and refusal to comply with a legal test is not his first encounter with legal issues following an auto accident. His SUV was found overturned in March 2026 after a two-car collision. Woods was detained and released after an eight-hour custody period.

On Tuesday, March 31, Woods addressed his arrest via social media, announcing his decision to step away from golf to seek treatment.

He stated on X, “I recognize the seriousness of my current situation. I am taking time off to seek treatment and focus on my health. Prioritizing my well-being is essential for lasting recovery.”

Woods further commented, “I am dedicated to taking the necessary time to return healthier and more focused, both personally and professionally. I value your understanding and support and request privacy for my family and myself during this period.”

Us Weekly later confirmed that a judge has permitted Woods to leave the country for his treatment.

According to an April document from Woods’ lawyer, Douglas Duncan, “Ongoing medical scrutiny and public exposure pose substantial barriers to his care, leading to setbacks and difficulty fully engaging in treatment. Based on the treating physician’s opinions, inpatient treatment at an international facility is medically necessary due to his complex needs, requiring an intensive, individualized, and medically integrated program.”
