Isabel Eriksson, a victim of the man known as “Sweden’s Josef Fritzl,” has bravely come forward to share her harrowing ordeal with Dr. Martin Trenneborg. Trenneborg kidnapped, drugged, and held Eriksson captive as his sex slave for six days in a homemade bunker. The incident took place in September 2015 when Eriksson, 39, was working as an escort in Stockholm. She met Trenneborg for a date, where he fed her drug-laced strawberries, causing her to fall unconscious.

Upon awakening, Eriksson found herself in a homemade bunker with a needle in her arm. She described the chilling experience of waking up to find herself in a dark, cold, and dusty space with cement bags on the floor. Trenneborg, who had transported her 350 miles away to his rural home in Kristianstad, revealed his plans to keep her locked up for years.

Despite Eriksson’s attempts to escape by attacking Trenneborg with spikes, she was unable to break free as she was still under the influence of sedatives. Trenneborg made it clear that he intended to keep her as a girlfriend, forcing her to have sex multiple times a day, clean, and cook for him. The bunker, reminiscent of the dungeon built by Josef Fritzl to imprison his daughter for 24 years, featured concrete walls, a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and a courtyard to conceal Eriksson from prying eyes.

During her captivity, Trenneborg would leave Eriksson alone during the day but return in the evening. He collected blood and vaginal samples from her, claiming to test them for STDs. He also provided her with birth control pills and insisted on unprotected sex. After six days, Trenneborg took Eriksson to a police station in Stockholm, claiming they were trying to access her apartment, which had changed locks due to her being reported missing.

Police discovered a disturbing “sex slave contract” on Trenneborg’s computer, outlining the sexual acts Eriksson was expected to perform, which would be documented through photographs and videos. If she complied, her time in captivity would be reduced, but any attempts to escape would result in an extension of her confinement.

Despite Trenneborg’s claims that everything was consensual, Eriksson’s testimony led to his conviction for kidnapping. He was acquitted of rape but sentenced to 10 years in prison. The case drew parallels to the atrocities committed by Josef Fritzl, underscoring the horrors of captivity and abuse endured by victims like Isabel Eriksson.
