Hanson’s argument highlights a point often overlooked by liberals and the media: Americans are resistant to being criticized by newcomers to the country.

Observing the Democratic Socialists’ agenda, it’s amusing to hear these young individuals dismiss the presidency and the Senate, claiming they are unfair, and suggest abolishing them.
They propose expanding the House in a way akin to a radical Athenian democracy, where anything they declare becomes law. They also wish to eliminate the Supreme Court and the presidency.
These ideas make one wonder if figures like Hamilton and Jefferson sacrificed for this. Did we endure battles from Iwo Jima to Gettysburg just for first or second-generation immigrants to lecture us?

Zohran Mamdani, who became a U.S. citizen in 2018, is used as an example in Hanson’s argument. Hanson questions the authority of individuals like Mamdani to lecture Americans on their own country.
This sentiment isn’t isolated to Mamdani; Hanson extends it to all DSA supporters, describing their approach as deeply offensive.
Hanson’s critique raises the question: can these individuals be trusted to serve in Congress and uphold constitutional rights?
