Victoria Beckham is embracing her love for her children as her family faces tensions, particularly with her son Brooklyn Beckham.
On Friday, October 3, the 51-year-old former Spice Girls star expressed her sentiments in an Instagram post, stating, “I love you all so much… I couldn’t do it without you! Xx.” The post included a picture of her husband David Beckham, their sons Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 23, as well as their daughter Harper, 14. Also featured in the image were Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29, and Condé Nast’s Chief Content Officer Anna Wintour, 75, all present to support Victoria during Paris Fashion Week.
Notably missing from the gathering were Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, who have been estranged from Brooklyn’s family for several months, stemming from a broader conflict that traces back to their wedding in 2022.
In his first public remark regarding the family disconnect, Brooklyn spoke on September 24, 2025, saying, “People will always talk rubbish.” He noted this while taking part in the Ryder Cup Celebrity All-Star Match. “I just focus on having fun playing golf with my friends.”
Brooklyn thanked his wife for helping him remain composed amid the challenges they face. “There will always be negativity from people, but I have a very supportive partner,” he remarked. “We focus on our life together and keep our heads down. We’re happy.”
Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot in 2022 and ceremoniously renewed their vows on August 2, though none of Brooklyn’s immediate family members attended the celebration.
The rift intensified after Brooklyn and Nicola did not show up at David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash in May, where the rest of the family was present.
On May 4, David, 50, and Victoria, 51, shared a heartfelt post on Instagram stating, “Creating special memories with family and friends. We love you all ❤️,” tagging their sons Romeo and Cruz while highlighting their daughter Harper.

The friction initiated ahead of Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding in 2022 when she opted not to wear a dress designed by Victoria — something many had anticipated.
“I desperately wanted to wear [a Victoria Beckham dress], and thought it was wonderful that Brooklyn’s mother had designed it for me! I was thrilled to wear it! Ultimately, that didn’t happen,” she disclosed to The Times. “We were informed by her atelier that they couldn’t complete the dress in time. Afterward, we had a discussion and came up with an alternative. Honestly, I was really looking forward to wearing her creation.”
The family did gather for the 2023 premiere of David’s documentary Beckham, but reports surfaced in April 2025 indicating a dispute between Brooklyn and Romeo over the latter’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull. This disagreement ultimately influenced Brooklyn and Nicola’s choice to skip David’s birthday celebration.
