In light of Kross’ impactful return to the independent circuit, wrestling veteran Vince Russo speculated that WWE may have found a replacement for him in Bo Dallas. Russo noted that Dallas appears to be filling a similar role that Kross occupied during his tenure with the company.
Dallas has been creating tension within The Street Profits through his mind games during segments on SmackDown, drawing parallels to Kross’s previous storylines. Russo critiqued WWE’s approach, suggesting they are repeating past patterns that lead nowhere.
“It is crystal clear if you’re watching what I’m watching; they put Bo Dallas in the Karrion Kross role. Kross was doing the same exact thing that went nowhere, by the way. They’re doing the same exact thing with Bo Dallas. Same exact thing that Karrion Kross was doing. Same thing,” Russo said.
