Sherrone Moore, the former Michigan Wolverines head coach, made headlines as he arrived in court alongside his wife, Kelli, for a hearing on charges related to a home invasion. The couple’s arrival at the court was captured in a viral video that quickly gained over half a million views on social media.

The charges against Moore stem from an incident on December 10, 2025, where he allegedly entered a woman’s apartment and confronted her about losing his job as the Michigan HC earlier that day. Reports suggest that Moore brandished butter knives and kitchen scissors, threatening to harm himself during the altercation.

According to authorities, Moore is facing serious legal consequences for his actions. The former head coach could potentially be sentenced to up to six years in prison for the charges against him. The felony charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $2,000 fine, while the misdemeanor stalking charge could result in one year of imprisonment, a $1,000 fine, and five years of probation. Additionally, the breaking and entering charge carries a maximum sentence of 90 days in jail and a $500 fine.

In response to the allegations, Moore’s attorney, Ellen Michaels, has maintained his innocence and filed a motion to quash the arrest warrant and dismiss the complaint. The legal proceedings are ongoing, and Moore is set to defend himself against the charges in court.

As the case unfolds, the public awaits further developments in the legal battle involving Sherrone Moore. Stay tuned for updates on this story as it continues to unfold.
