The Economist has issued a scathing critique of Donald Trump’s approach to the Iran conflict with its latest cover.
The headline, “Operation Blind Fury,” is a biting play on Trump’s own term “Operation Epic Fury” for the joint U.S.-Israeli military initiative.
The cover art portrays Trump wearing a military helmet adorned with bullets, pulled down over his eyes, suggesting he lacks clear direction in the ongoing three-week conflict.
In a post on X, the magazine cautioned: “The reckless campaign against Iran will weaken America’s president. That will make him angry. Be warned: he makes a very bad loser.”
The cover has garnered over 2.2 million views, going viral on the platform.
Users on the Elon Musk-owned platform praised the cover’s accuracy, with one commenter noting it “summed it up perfectly.”
