On Sunday, May 10, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar showcased his exceptional bowling skills in the IPL 2026 match against Mumbai Indians (MI). The medium pacer claimed his fourth wicket of the night by dismissing a well-set Tilak Varma, who scored 57.
This key dismissal occurred in the 18th over of MI’s innings, marking the last ball of Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s final spell. The 36-year-old delivered a precise yorker, which Varma attempted to scoop but only managed an inside edge that deflected onto the stumps. Rohit Sharma and Deepak Chahar showed their disappointment from the dugout, while Virat Kohli celebrated the wicket enthusiastically with Kumar.
