First Lady Melania Trump and President Donald J. Trump are once again celebrating the festive spirit with their beloved annual event, welcoming volunteer performers and decorators from all corners of the nation to Washington, D.C., for White House Christmas 2025: Home Is Where The Heart Is.
This year, a handpicked selection of volunteers—decorators and performers representing diverse American communities—was invited to partake in this time-honored tradition. During the Thanksgiving week, an impressive 150 decorators hailing from 50 states and two territories journeyed to the Nation’s Capital. These volunteers, aged between 19 and 76 and embodying a rich tapestry of professions and backgrounds, dedicated their time, skills, and imaginative flair to help embellish the People’s House for the holiday season.
Moreover, over 25 groups of volunteer performers from 22 states were chosen to serenade visitors throughout the holiday period. These groups varied in size, from solo acts to ensembles boasting more than 30 musicians, including choirs, jazz bands, and instrumentalists. Their performances are a celebration of the diversity and cultural wealth that define American musical traditions. Through their contributions, these volunteers have woven themselves into the fabric of White House history, offering their artistry and service to create a Christmas ambiance brimming with joy, creativity, and community spirit.
