On Saturday, May 3, Steve Bannon took to the airwaves of his War Room, delivering a series of striking updates concerning the so-called global Deep State.
Bannon kicked off the broadcast by highlighting a recent interview he conducted with Catholic Archbishop Carlo Viganò, which he described as nothing short of explosive.
During this discussion, Archbishop Viganò put forth allegations of a “coup d’état that would not be contested by any rational observer.” This purported coup, which allegedly led to the resignation of Pope John Paul II and the subsequent ascension of Pope Francis in 2013, purportedly involved the Obama Administration, the global Deep State, and even the Vatican, according to Viganò.
“Viganò’s revelations are critical. Even if you’re not Catholic, this is a narrative that connects us all,” Bannon asserted. “He’s been a vocal critic of the World Economic Forum for years, and as a former Vatican Ambassador to the U.S., his insights carry weight.”
“He claims that the Obama Administration collaborated closely to install a left-leaning figure like Pope Francis to exert control over the Catholic Church—a matter of significant importance,” Bannon continued.
Linking Viganò’s allegations to domestic affairs, Bannon painted a grim picture of the American Deep State’s relentless pursuit to imprison former President Trump. “The Deep State operates with impunity. They claim to uphold democracy, yet they tried to imprison Trump for 700 years after his substantial electoral victory last November,” he declared.
“Should they execute a similar theft of the 2028 election, they will escalate their attempts to incarcerate Trump,” Bannon warned.

Bannon also expanded his discussion to include alarming updates from around the globe, suggesting a pattern of Deep State actions. “In South America, Bolsonaro is recovering from his seventh major surgery following an assassination attempt. The courts are gearing up to imprison him, and there’s a real threat to his life behind bars,” Bannon reported.
“In France, Marine Le Pen has just been handed a four-year prison sentence,” he added ominously.
“Meanwhile, in Korea, a coup has unfolded against a president who dared to speak out about electoral fraud.”
“It’s painfully clear what they’re doing. Unable to win at the ballot box, they resort to draconian measures,” Bannon lamented. “These are Marxist radicals operating outside the bounds of law; their creed is the rule of the powerful, not the rule of law.”
In a particularly striking commentary, Bannon drew attention to the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, which has classified Germany’s Alternative for Deutschland Party as a “right-wing extremist organization.”
“This classification is astonishing. The members of Alternative for Deutschland are striving to protect their nation and have been correct in their assessments regarding mass immigration,” Bannon asserted.
“Their unexpected rise in popularity, despite media blackouts and police intimidation, has significantly altered the political landscape, much like Nigel Farage in the UK. The German public is responding—‘We hear you, and we stand with you,’” he claimed.
“Yet, the Deep State has issued a report labeling Alternative for Deutschland as an extremist group, calling for them to be suppressed and those involved to be jailed,” Bannon concluded.
For over a decade, Americans have witnessed the Deep State’s attempts to target Trump for purported non-crimes. On Saturday, Bannon reiterated that the machinations of the Deep State are far from over, both in the United States and globally.
