The highly anticipated CBS series “Watson” is set to premiere after the AFC Championship Game on Jan. 26, 2025, on CBS and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+. The show will then air regularly starting Feb. 16. “Watson” takes place six months after the death of Sherlock Holmes, with Morris Chestnut starring as Dr. John Watson, who resumes his medical career as the head of a clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders. The logline reveals that Watson’s old life is not done with him, as he is set to face off against Moriarty in a thrilling new chapter.

The cast of “Watson” also includes Eve Harlow, Peter Mark Kendall, Ritchie Coster, Inga Schlingmann, and Rochelle Aytes. Fans can watch the official trailer for the show below.

In other television news, the Nickelodeon live-action show “Henry Danger” is getting a movie adaptation titled “Henry Danger The Movie.” The movie will premiere on Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. on Nickelodeon and will be available for streaming on Paramount+ the same day. The film stars the original series cast, including Jace Norman, Sean Ryan Fox, Ella Anderson, Michael D. Cohen, and Frankie Grande. The movie follows Henry as he races through alternate realities with a new superfan sidekick.

Additionally, Fox has announced a new two-hour special called “The Real Full Monty,” inspired by the 1997 musical “The Full Monty.” The special will feature male celebrities baring it all for charity to raise awareness for cancer testing and research. The cast includes Anthony Anderson, Taye Diggs, Tyler Posey, Bruno Tonioli, James Van Der Beek, and Chris Jones. The special will air on Fox on Dec. 9.

BYUtv is also releasing an adaptation of “Primrose Railway Children,” based on the novel by Jacqueline Wilson. The show follows a young girl named Phoebe as she investigates the disappearance of her father in a rural community. The adaptation will be available for free streaming on BYUtv starting Dec. 8.

Lastly, Queen Latifah will host the 47th Annual Kennedy Center Honors, airing on CBS on Dec. 22 before streaming on Paramount+. The Kennedy Center Honors celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to the performing arts. Latifah, known for her work in music and film, will be hosting the special for the first time.

Overall, there is a lot of exciting television programming to look forward to in the coming months, with new shows, movies, and specials set to entertain audiences across various platforms. This marks the second time that actor and television host Matt Iseman will be filling in for regular host Dan Abrams over the holiday weekend on the popular show “On Patrol: Live.” Known for his charismatic hosting style and quick wit, Iseman has proven to be a fan favorite in the hosting world.

“On Patrol: Live” offers viewers minute-by-minute live analysis of police officers on patrol, showcasing their work in diverse departments across the United States. The show airs on Friday and Saturday nights from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET on Reelz, and also streams live on Peacock for viewers to enjoy.
