Before investing in Warby Parker, keep this in mind:

The Motley Fool Stock Advisor analyst team has recently pinpointed what they consider the 10 best stocks for investors to purchase currently… and Warby Parker was not included. The selected stocks could yield significant returns in the near future.

Take for example when Netflix was featured on this list on December 17, 2004… if you had invested $1,000 based on our recommendation, you would have $621,976!* Or consider Nvidia which joined the list on April 15, 2005… if you invested $1,000 then, you would now have $1,150,085!*

It’s important to note that Stock Advisor’s total average return is an impressive 1,058% — significantly outperforming the S&P 500’s 191% return. Don’t miss out on the latest top 10 list available upon joining Stock Advisor.

Tim Beyers: What defines a supernova stock? We have three compelling ideas. You’re tuned into Motley Fool Money. I’m your host, Tim Beyers, joined by seasoned analysts Rick Munarriz and David Meier. Rick, we’re calling this your early bird special.

Rick Munarriz: There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being a seasoned investor and enjoying dinner at 4:45 PM.

Tim Beyers: I agree with that. Dave, are you on board with this?

David Meier: Absolutely! I embrace being a seasoned investor in this group.

Tim Beyers: I also see nothing wrong with the early bird concept, by the way.

David Meier: I appreciate a nice early dinner.

Tim Beyers: I enjoy the early bird as well. Now, our collective experience here includes the much-anticipated return of an old favorite this week. As I mentioned, Supernova stock is back, and that marks the return of Motley Fool’s Supernova on October 1st. We’ll discuss what that entails. In short, you’ll get to hear from three of the four captains of our two Supernova portfolios making a comeback this week. Supernova Phoenix, co-captained by Rick and Emily Flippen, targets investors approaching retirement or already retired. Meanwhile, Supernova Odyssey, co-captained by me and Dave, will simulate the investment experience for wage-earning investors. We believe these two are fantastic methods for portfolio building. After nine years of previous success, we are thrilled to bring this back. Let’s explore what Supernova was and what changes might be present in this new version launching this week. First, however, we’ll have a Supernova stock showdown. We’ll discuss three stocks not initially included in Phoenix or Odyssey but that we believe have potential. There are specific criteria that define a supernova stock that we will outline before revealing our selections. One key feature of Supernova is the return of the Supernova Stock Exchange, with improvements in place. A stock must be either an active recommendation in Rule Breakers, a recommendation by Team Rule Breakers on the Stock Advisor scorecard, or it must have a super score of 75 or higher in the forthcoming Rule Breakers database, developed in collaboration with experts who brought you Moneyball. This new database will also supply ideas for the Supernova universe. So, Dave, let’s kick things off with you. What are your stock picks for Supernova?
