The NASCAR Cup Series made a thrilling return to action at Texas Motor Speedway this past weekend, with Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell showcasing their talents in the Kubota High Limit Racing event on Thursday. After a month-long break, the series brought the excitement back to the track with the Stockyard Stampede at Texas Motor Speedway.

Larson, the reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion, drove the #57 sprint car for Silva Motorsports and started 13th in the race. Despite a challenging start, Larson managed to finish in a respectable ninth place. On the other hand, Christopher Bell, driving the #69K, started fifth but faced difficulties during the race, ultimately finishing in 21st place.

The highlight of the event was Brent Marks’ dominating performance, as he secured his first win of the 2025 High Limit Racing season. Marks started from pole position and led all 25 laps of the race, holding off defending series champion Brad Sweet to claim victory for the second consecutive Texas race.

In a thrilling finish, Marks crossed the finish line 1.420 seconds ahead of Sweet, with Sam Hafertepe Jr., Chase Randall, and Tyler Courtney rounding out the top five. The rest of the top ten included Kasey Kahne, Landon Crawley, Rico Abreu, Kyle Larson, and Tanner Thorson.

Ty Gibbs, the grandson of Joe Gibbs, also participated in the High Limit Racing series and finished in 18th place.

The complete race results for the 2025 Kubota High Limit Series event at Texas Motor Speedway are as follows:

3. Sam Hafertepe Jr
4. Chase Randall
5. Tyler Courtney
6. Kasey Kahne
7. Landon Crawley
8. Rico Abreu
9. Kyle Larson
10. Tanner Thorson
And the points table for the High Limit Series standings is led by Brad Sweet with 499 points, followed by Tyler Courtney and Brent Marks.
