Where’s Chris Van Hollen’s Concern for Americans Brutalized by Illegal Immigrant Crime? – The White House

Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) is currently visiting El Salvador, passionately advocating for an illegal immigrant identified as an MS-13 gang member and human trafficker, declaring he “won’t stop fighting until he’s home.”

However, this “criminal illegal immigrant” is already, quite literally, home—he’s a citizen of El Salvador.

One might wonder where Senator Van Hollen’s compassion was when an innocent Maryland resident, Rachel Morin—a mother of five—was tragically murdered by an illegal immigrant. Van Hollen failed to reach out to her grieving family.

What about the senator’s silence when an accused murderer was allowed to roam free due to the so-called “sanctuary” policies of his state’s second-most populous county? Once again, Van Hollen chose not to voice his concerns regarding the radical policies that jeopardize the safety of his constituents.

And what of his concern for Maryland residents risked by the numerous illegal immigrants who have been permitted to remain free until now? Below is a brief overview of some criminal illegal immigrants recently apprehended by ICE in Maryland:

Jing Ming Long, a 50-year-old Chinese national, was arrested by ICE in Baltimore. He has a conviction for sex trafficking in Bel Air, Maryland.

Salvador Vasquez-Rivera, a citizen of El Salvador, was arrested in Hagerstown, Maryland, by ICE. He has a conviction for the sexual abuse of a minor.

David Alejandro Orellana-Aleman, a 27-year-old citizen of El Salvador, was arrested in Hyattsville, Maryland, by ICE. He is a high-ranking MS-13 gang leader who controlled gang operations across the U.S., Mexico, and Europe.

Edvin Giovanni Ceron-Reyes, a 37-year-old Guatemalan citizen, was arrested in Cumberland, Maryland, by ICE. He has a conviction for attempted first-degree murder.

Juan Carlos Vasquez-Natera, a 33-year-old Venezuelan, was arrested in Frederick, Maryland, by ICE. He has a conviction for the sexual solicitation of a minor.

Wilmer Antonio Echenique-Navarro, a 22-year-old Venezuelan, was arrested in Takoma Park, Maryland, by ICE Baltimore. He is a recognized member of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang.

German Ronal Del Cid Carranza, a 33-year-old Salvadoran, was arrested in Silver Spring, Maryland, by ICE. He is known for his affiliation with the MS-13 gang and has a conviction for possession of a loaded firearm.

Georges Olivier Daceus, a 27-year-old Canadian, was arrested in Hagerstown, Maryland, by ICE. He has a conviction for a third-degree sexual offense.

Chuan En Liu, a 48-year-old Chinese national, was arrested in Gaithersburg, Maryland, by ICE. He has a conviction for second-degree assault.
