Disturbing footage has emerged showing a reckless driver intentionally crashing into an Immigration and Customs Enforcement vehicle in Chicago, part of a troubling trend of aggression against federal agents.
The incident transpired as video captured a black SUV barreling into the rear of the ICE truck amidst bustling traffic on Saturday, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Following the initial impact, the driver pursued the ICE vehicle, repeatedly colliding with its rear while bystanders looked on in disbelief.
A multitude of federal agents were seen aiming their weapons, trying to prevent the driver from escaping.
It remains unclear whether authorities were able to apprehend the driver.
This attack followed an event where Border Patrol agents shot a woman armed with a gun in a separate altercation, when a hostile group of anti-ICE protesters surrounded federal agents with ten vehicles.
The individuals involved, Marimar Martinez and Anthony Ian Santos Ruiz, were arrested and labeled as “domestic terrorists.”
“The situation escalated as more domestic terrorists congregated and began launching smoke bombs, gas, rocks, and bottles at DHS officials,” stated the DHS.
Several Border Patrol agents reportedly sustained injuries during these violent confrontations, as per official sources.

“These attacks on our courageous law enforcement personnel must come to an end,” declared DHS assistant secretary Tricia McLaughlin.
In response, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has dispatched specialized operations teams to the area.
“Secretary Noem has mobilized additional resources to restore order. We will not permit domestic terrorists to assault our law enforcement,” affirmed McLaughlin.
“Any assault on law enforcement will be met with full legal repercussions.”
