Will Smith’s sexual harassment accuser, violinist Brian King Joseph, has seemingly hinted at impending drama just days before filing his explosive lawsuit against the Hollywood star. In a cryptic Instagram video posted on December 26, Joseph talked about speaking his truth and standing up for what’s right, a message that now holds greater significance in light of the allegations he has made against Smith.

In the video, Joseph revealed that he had been hired to perform on Smith’s 2025 world tour, “Based on a True Story: 2025,” and expressed his excitement at the opportunity. However, he alluded to unspecified incidents that occurred during the tour, leading to his termination. He emphasized the importance of not being silenced or retaliated against for reporting sexual misconduct or safety threats in the workplace.

Joseph’s post garnered attention when, on December 30, he officially filed a lawsuit against Smith and Treyball Studios Management Inc. in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles. The complaint alleges that Smith engaged in grooming behavior and sexual exploitation towards Joseph, culminating in a disturbing incident in a Las Vegas hotel room during the tour.

According to the complaint, Joseph discovered his hotel room had been unlawfully entered by an unknown individual who left behind unsettling items, including a handwritten note indicating a planned return to the room for intimate activities. Joseph reported the incident to hotel security, the police, and Smith’s management team, only to face backlash and ultimately be removed from the tour lineup.

Joseph claims that the subsequent actions taken against him caused significant emotional distress, financial losses, damage to his reputation, and long-term mental health issues, including PTSD. In response to the allegations, Smith’s attorney, Allen B. Grodsky, strongly denied the claims, labeling them as false, baseless, and reckless. Grodsky emphasized that they would use all legal means to address the allegations and uncover the truth.

As the legal battle unfolds, the public awaits further developments in this high-profile case. Joseph’s courage in coming forward with his story serves as a reminder of the importance of speaking out against misconduct and standing up for justice, no matter the circumstances.
