Headlining the event will be Jakob Ingebrigtsen, the current world record holder for the indoor mile and a two-time Olympic and World Champion. Joining him will be Cole Hocker and Yared Nuguse, the gold and bronze medalists in the 1500m event at the Paris Olympics.

The lineup of Ingebrigtsen, Hocker, and Nuguse is sure to provide fans with an intense race, with all eyes on the clock to see if the trio can break the world record of 3:43.13 and dip under the 3:43s mark. Ingebrigtsen, with a personal best of 3:43.73 in the outdoor mile, will be a strong contender for the win based on his impressive track record.

Cole Hocker, who stunned the world by winning the 1500m gold at the Paris Olympics, holds a personal best of 3:48.08 in the mile. Meanwhile, Yared Nuguse, known for his strong performances in the mile distance, has a personal best of 3:43.97. Nuguse recently set a world record of 3:46.63 in the indoor mile, showcasing his potential to compete at the highest level.

In other news, Jakob Ingebrigtsen has already kicked off his 2025 season on a high note, winning the mile race at the Meeting Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais Trophée EDF and claiming the 1500m and 3000m titles at the European Indoor Championships. Most recently, he secured gold in both the 3000m and 1500m events at the World Indoor Championships, further solidifying his status as a dominant force in middle-distance running.
