Tragedy struck early Friday morning in Commerce City as one woman lost her life and a man and another woman were rushed to the hospital following a shooting incident. The gunfire detection system alerted police to the scene near 7300 Oneida Drive, close to Adams City High School and Lester Arnold High School in north metro Denver at approximately 1 a.m, as reported in a tweet by the Commerce City police.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered the three victims with gunshot wounds. They were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, where sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries. The man remains in critical condition, while the other woman’s injuries are reported to be minor, as per an update from the police.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, with no suspects currently identified.
