According to the Port Authority police, they received notification of an unresponsive woman in her car at long-term parking lot 9, located near Aqueduct Road and Lefferts Boulevard in Jamaica, at approximately 2:10 p.m.
The aging woman was confirmed deceased at the scene. Authorities were called in after she was noticed in her car, remaining in the same position as earlier that day, sources indicated.

Sources have revealed that the woman’s vehicle was last observed running on September 30.
While a segment of the parking facility remains cordoned off, there have been no consequences to airport activities or traffic in the vicinity, according to police.
