Xeinadin, a renowned provider of accountancy services and business advice, has recently made two significant senior appointments at its base in Sittingbourne, Kent. This move demonstrates the company’s commitment to investing in the South East region and supporting businesses in North Kent.

Simon Laurie has been appointed as the new director at Xeinadin. In his role, he will focus on working closely with small and medium-sized enterprises to strengthen their financial foundations. Additionally, Laurie will play a key role in supporting the practice’s regional growth plans, bringing his wealth of experience and expertise to the table.

Joining Laurie is George Cannon, who takes on the role of tax associate director at Xeinadin. Cannon’s background is primarily in tax compliance, with a strong focus on advisory work in employment taxes. He also brings expertise in personal tax planning, particularly in areas such as capital gains tax and inheritance tax issues. Moving forward, Cannon’s responsibilities will shift towards proactive tax planning, with a specific emphasis on succession and future planning for business owners.

Symon Barkway, the managing partner at Xeinadin North Kent, expressed confidence in the Sittingbourne office and the wider north Kent market following these appointments. He noted the increasing demand for advice that goes beyond compliance among businesses in the region, highlighting the importance of understanding the needs of owner-managed businesses at different stages of growth.

As part of its continued growth strategy, Xeinadin has also announced a series of senior promotions within its North West regional network. Five individuals have been promoted to new leadership roles across offices in Manchester, Chester, Birkenhead, Bolton, and Liverpool. Among these promotions, three individuals have been elevated to partner level, including James Bruce in Manchester, Stephanie Baker in Chester, and Richard Landsberg in Birkenhead. Additionally, two senior promotions were made at the director level, with Nina Lasota-Long in Bolton and Paul Mulhearn in Liverpool.
