Ian Bohen is making his return to the Taylor Sheridan universe, as the former star of “Yellowstone” has secured a series regular role in Season 3 of “Lioness”.

According to exclusive information from Variety, Bohen will be part of the third season of the military drama on Paramount+, with filming currently taking place at SGS Studios in Texas. It was confirmed on October 1 that “Lioness” has been renewed for a third season, almost a year after the premiere of Season 2.

Bohen will portray Grady, characterized as “a meticulous Delta Force operator and primary K9 handler with expertise in battlefield techniques.” He will join an impressive cast that includes Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Kelly, Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill, and Hannah Love Lanier.

This marks Bohen’s fourth collaboration with Sheridan, following his work in “Yellowstone” and Sheridan’s feature film “Wind River.” He also appeared in “Sicario: Day of the Soldado,” a project written by Sheridan. Bohen joins other frequent Sheridan collaborators like Annable, Garrett, Jordan, Hébert, and Luckinbill in the “Lioness” cast.

Bohen is best known for his role as the wrangler Ryan across the five seasons of “Yellowstone.” His television credits also include “Teen Wolf,” “Mad Men,” and “Chicago P.D..” On the film side, he has been in projects such as “The Dark Knight Rises,” “Wyatt Earp,” and “Pearl Harbor.” Moving forward, he will both executive produce and star in the upcoming series “To the Rescue,” an international collaboration being marketed at Mipcom by Zero Gravity.
