Sportico and the Yes Network have joined forces to introduce a new monthly sports business program called “Sportico Sports Business Presented by Genius Sports.” The inaugural episode is set to debut on March 18 at 10:30 p.m. ET on the Yes Network and Gotham Sports App, immediately following Yes’ Brooklyn Nets post-game show.
The series aims to delve into various aspects of the sports industry, including media, finance, facility management, leagues and conferences, legal matters, sponsorships, and technological advancements. Bob Lorenz, the studio commentator for the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Nets on the Yes Network, will take on the role of host. In the first episode, Lorenz will be joined by Gerry Cardinale, the founder, managing partner, and chief investment officer of RedBird Capital Partners, as well as NBA Hall-of-Famer Grant Hill.
Jared Boshnack, the executive producer and vice president of production at the Yes Network, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “This new series combines the unique expertise and resources of two leading sports business brands.
