Step back into the world of “Euphoria.”
In anticipation of the eagerly-awaited third season of the HBO drama, set to premiere on April 12, a second trailer has been unveiled.
The initial trailer, released in January, revealed a five-year leap forward following Season 2, which aired in 2022. Viewers learned that Zendaya’s character Rue is still entangled with her drug dealers, while Sydney Sweeney’s Cassie is set to marry Nate Jacobs (played by Jacob Elordi) and has taken up work as a cam girl.
Returning to the screen alongside Zendaya, Sweeney, and Elordi for Season 3 are Hunter Schafer, the late Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Colman Domingo, and Dominic Fike. The season also introduces new faces, including Sharon Stone, RosalĂa, Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, and Marshawn Lynch. Additional cast members include Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Kadeem Hardison, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry HĂ©bert, Anna Van Patten, Asante Blackk, Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Rebecca Pidgeon, and Sam Trammell.
During a HBO Max event in London last year, “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson shared insights about the characters’ paths after high school. He noted, “Jules [Schafer] is in art school, very nervous about having a career as a painter and trying to avoid responsibility at all costs. Maddy [Demie] is working in Hollywood at a talent agency for a manager, with her own side hustles on the go. And Lexi [Apatow] is an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone, who is just absolutely delightful and a true icon.”
