Zohran Mamdani ally Linda Sarsour calls for ouster of Israel-supporting âcorporate Democratsâ
Linda Sarsour, known for her radical left-wing activism, joined Alexa Aviles, a Democratic Socialists of America member, in making inflammatory remarks at the SOMOS political conference in Puerto Rico.
During a panel discussion titled âColonialism, Resistance and Solidarity: Puerto Rico and Palestine,â Sarsour emphasized the importance of taking action by stating, âYou do the right thing, you keep your job. You donât do the right thing, you donât keep your job.â
Aviles, who is considering challenging incumbent Manhattan Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), criticized âcorporate Democratsâ supported by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
Both Sarsour and Aviles have been strong supporters of mayor-elect Mamdani, who is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America.
Mamdani is scheduled to attend a reception at SOMOS, where New York politicians are gathering post-election, hosted by State Attorney General Leticia James.
Additionally, Governor Kathy Hochul will be delivering remarks at a separate reception later in the evening.
