1. In 2010, Pam Bondi made history by becoming the first female attorney general of Florida. Prior to this, she had an extensive career as a prosecutor in the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. During her tenure as attorney general, Bondi focused on issues such as human trafficking and advocated for tougher laws in this area. She also initiated a lawsuit against opioid manufacturers. Bondi served in this role for 8 years, from 2011-2019. 
2. As a long-time supporter of Trump, Bondi represented him as one of his lawyers during his first impeachment trial. She stood by Trump’s allegations of corruption against Joe Biden and his son Hunter, even though these claims were never proven. Bondi’s loyalty to Trump earned her a prominent role at the Republican National Convention in the same year.
