Bad Bunny sparked reactions at the Yankees game on Tuesday night by opting not to stand for the performance of “God Bless America.”
During the 7th inning stretch, most fans rose and sang along to “God Bless America.” A live image captured the crowd singing the line “guide her,” referring to the iconic verse “stand beside her and guide her.”
The Grammy-winning artist was seen enjoying the game with friends as the Yankees triumphed over the Toronto Blue Jays with a score of 9-6.
Benito has been a hot topic lately, especially after stirring controversy with his Super Bowl Halftime announcement, which included remarks about ICE and criticism for his decision to predominantly refrain from singing in English.
