Two 15-year-olds, a boy and a girl from Hyattsville, Maryland, who attacked former DOGE employee Edward “Big Balls” Coristine, have escaped incarceration after entering guilty pleas for simple assault at a DC court.

The sentencing took place on Tuesday, about two months following their arrest for the violent incident that occurred on August 3, as reported by WUSA9.

The boy received a 12-month probation sentence while being allowed to go home under strict house arrest, whereas the girl was given a nine-month probation term and placed in a local youth shelter.

Those involved in the attempted carjacking and assault, which took place around 3 a.m. in a DC parking garage, have not yet been apprehended.

“I hope you can learn from this and understand the consequences of your actions,” Coristine, 19, reportedly stated to the defendants via video link, expressing gratitude to law enforcement and the courts for their prompt response in addressing the case.

Following the attack, Coristine suffered a concussion and a fractured nose after being ambushed along with a female companion by “a group of 10 individuals,” as he shared previously.
