At another corner of the celebration, Sarah Paulson captivated guests with her presence. The talented actress and muse of Ryan Murphy donned a striking Bottega Veneta creation from Louise Trotter’s latest Milan showcase. “This is her inaugural collection—how fitting that we’re in a celebration focused on women,” she expressed with enthusiasm. Paulson’s statement sleeves were a meaningful choice. “This dress doesn’t accentuate my hips, waist, or bust. It’s a piece of art I’m wearing, and while it may not flaunt the feminine silhouette, it nonetheless celebrates femininity simply by being worn by a woman,” she elaborated.
Looking ahead, Paulson was eager to reconnect with Kris Jenner, one of the show’s executive producers, who graced the event briefly. “She’s like our guiding mother,” Paulson humorously remarked. Guests were also on the lookout for a glimpse of the Kardashians. “What’s taking Kim so long?” one guest inquired anxiously, scanning the venue for the Skims founder, who made a quick appearance after dinner dressed in Schiaparelli.
As the festivities continued, supermodel Kaia Gerber was spotted enjoying a beer while engaging with friends, perfectly showcasing the casual elegance of a model off-duty in her classic little black dress and shiny heels. Not far away, Demi Engemann from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, was soaking in the atmosphere. “The premiere episode was spectacular in every sense,” she shared. “Each scene was filled with luxury and everyone appeared stunning.” Engemann aspires to emulate the path set by Kardashian. “I find Kim’s trajectory incredibly inspiring. I’m looking to dive into acting and hosting as well—and her journey pushes me to explore new avenues,” she admitted.
While guests eagerly looked for Kim and the rest of the crew, an array of tantalizing snacks such as golden french fries, crab cakes, sliders, and honey-fried chicken were keeping appetites at bay. Warm cookies and espresso martinis were also circulating as the night grew later. Appropriately, the overarching theme of the evening was a celebration of sisterhood. “It’s all about female empowerment,” DJ Dana Boulos commented, curating a dance floor filled with tracks from Doechii, Lil’ Kim, and Madonna.
