Sean “Diddy” Combs has checked into FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison located in New Jersey. The facility houses over 4,000 male inmates, with the majority in the central low-security facility and a smaller number in the adjacent minimum-security camp.
Unlike his previous lockup at MDC Brooklyn, Combs will not be confined to a cell at Fort Dix. The housing at the facility consists mostly of dormitory or cubicle-style accommodations, providing a more open and communal living environment.
FCI Fort Dix offers plenty of outdoor access, with the main yard open from morning until evening during the warmer months. In addition, there is a gym and weight room available for inmates to use, allowing Combs to stay in shape during his time at the facility.
The prison prides itself on its strong work and program components, which Combs is expected to participate in. The facility also has a well-stocked commissary, offering a variety of food and beverage options for purchase. In addition to popular items like Doritos, Pepsi, and Pop-Tarts, inmates can also buy meats, candy, snacks, hygiene products, and body care items. However, it is worth noting that baby oil is not among the lotions available for purchase.
Overall, FCI Fort Dix provides a more relaxed and structured environment compared to Combs’ previous incarceration. With access to outdoor amenities, a gym, and a variety of commissary options, Combs will have opportunities to stay active and engaged during his time at the facility.
