In today’s fast-paced world of cybersecurity, SOC leaders are constantly battling against machine-speed attacks. The overwhelming amount of alerts and the speed at which threats evolve can leave security teams feeling like they are always playing catch-up. However, CrowdStrike and NVIDIA are changing the game with their collaboration, introducing autonomous agents powered by Charlotte AI and NVIDIA Nemotron models that are proactive rather than reactive in the fight against cyber threats.

This partnership brings together the strengths of open source technology and agentic AI to empower security teams to combat adversarial AI effectively. By combining CrowdStrike’s Charlotte AI AgentWorks, NVIDIA Nemotron open models, NVIDIA NeMo Data Designer synthetic data, NVIDIA Nemo Agent Toolkit, and NVIDIA NIM microservices, SOC leaders now have the tools they need to stay ahead of attackers.

According to Bryan Catanzaro, Vice President of Applied Deep Learning Research at NVIDIA, this collaboration revolutionizes security operations by allowing analysts to deploy specialized AI agents at scale, leveraging enterprise-grade security with Nemotron models. The goal is to enable autonomous agents to learn quickly, reducing risks, threats, and false positives, thereby alleviating the burden on SOC leaders and their teams who face data fatigue from inaccurate information.

The announcement of this partnership at GTC Washington, D.C., marks a significant milestone in the cybersecurity industry, signaling the arrival of defense mechanisms that can keep up with the speed of machine-powered attacks. By transforming elite analyst expertise into datasets at machine scale, the collaboration between CrowdStrike and NVIDIA is set to revolutionize the way security operations are conducted.

One of the key differentiators of this partnership is the continuous aggregation of telemetry data, including insights from CrowdStrike Falcon Complete Managed Detection and Response analysts. This data is used to train autonomous agents, enabling them to learn from real-world scenarios and make informed decisions in real-time. By leveraging the NVIDIA Nemotron open models, organizations can ensure that their autonomous agents are always up-to-date and capable of adapting to evolving threats.

Open source technology is a crucial component of this partnership, as it provides transparency and clarity regarding the AI models being used. NVIDIA’s Nemotron open models address the need for secure and transparent AI models in regulated environments, allowing organizations to customize and train their models for specific security use cases while maintaining data privacy and security.

The commitment to transparency and open-source security models extends to the most sensitive aspects of AI development. By open-sourcing everything in Nemotron models, including reasoning datasets, NVIDIA ensures that practitioners have access to the information they need to trust the AI models they are using.

Ultimately, the goal of the CrowdStrike and NVIDIA partnership is to bring intelligence to the edge, enabling security operations teams to deploy AI agents closer to where data is generated and decisions are made. This edge deployment capability is particularly vital for government agencies with legacy IT environments, as it allows them to secure endpoints and detect anomalies quickly and effectively.

By providing comprehensive guidance for deploying AI agents in federal and high-assurance organizations, the NVIDIA AI Factory for Government reference design ensures that security requirements are met while protecting against the speed of AI-driven attacks. With this partnership, SOC leaders can finally level the playing field and stay one step ahead of cyber threats.
