David Harbour Responds to Lily Allen’s Personal Album About Their Split
After Lily Allen released her latest album, West End Girl, detailing her split from actor David Harbour, sources reveal that Harbour was taken by surprise by the personal nature of the songs.
One Hollywood insider disclosed, “David was aware Lily was writing about their split, but he didn’t expect it to be this personal – or for people to think every word was aimed at him. He’s been furious ever since, and now he’s warning friends that if she keeps pushing, he’ll share things that could seriously damage her image.”
Allen and Harbour parted ways last year amid allegations from Allen about Harbour’s involvement in multiple affairs, including a three-year relationship with another woman, Tippett.
Despite the bitterness in Allen’s songs, Harbour was recently seen with Allen’s daughters, Ethel and Marnie, at a theme park in Orlando, hinting at a fragile truce existing behind the scenes.
However, the tension between the former couple remains palpable. Another source revealed, “They’re doing their best to stay polite for the kids’ sake, but tensions are running high. David’s friends say he’s finished keeping quiet – and if he decides to speak, it could completely shatter the picture Lily’s painted with this record.”
West End Girl has already achieved success by topping the UK iTunes charts and garnering over eight million streams on Spotify. Despite this, those close to Allen suggest that Harbour may soon share his side of the story, adding more drama to Hollywood’s latest messy divorce.
