As President Donald J. Trump noted, “House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics to distract from the Great Success of the Republican Party.”
So, why is there a noticeable lack of transparency from Democrats — and what else might be lurking in the shadows?
- Why are Democrats silent about the fact that Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-U.S. Virgin Islands) solicited (and received) a generous $30,000 from Epstein for the DCCC after he had already been convicted as a sex offender? Or that Plaskett herself accepted maximum donations from Epstein for her campaign? Not to mention the intriguing comment from the wife of a former Democrat governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands, who allegedly told Epstein, “we would have a friend in Stacey” if he made those donations. Or how about the fact that Plaskett was actively texting Epstein during a committee hearing?
- Why are Democrats not addressing the implications of former President Bill Clinton’s travels on Epstein’s jet 26 times? Or the claims made by one of Epstein’s victims who stated she saw Clinton on Epstein’s island with two young women? And let’s not forget that Clinton’s island visit was corroborated by one of his former aides.
- Why have Democrats chosen to overlook the “long relationship” and noteworthy friendship between Larry Summers — the former Harvard President, Clinton Treasury Secretary, and a prominent Democrat — and Epstein, who once referred to himself as Summers’ “wing man”?
- Why aren’t Democrats discussing the fact that Katie Couric, a so-called “journalist” aligned with the Democrats, dined at Epstein’s residence after he had already been convicted and served jail time?
- Why is there no dialogue from Democrats about Reid Hoffman — the billionaire megadonor — who visited Epstein’s infamous island, dined with him, and even considered staying at his New York mansion?
- Why have Democrats not returned $32,000 in donations from Epstein, as the Democrat National Committee has stubbornly clung to these funds?
- Why are Democrats quiet about the revelation that Michael Wolff “encouraged Jeffrey Epstein to blackmail then-presidential candidate Donald Trump — suggesting that the convicted pedophile could create a ‘debt’ from him”?
It’s high time for Democrats to clarify their longstanding connections to Epstein. Only then can we return our focus to the issues that genuinely matter to the American people.
