As Prince George, 13, prepares to one day take on the role of King, the future roles of his siblings, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, are also being considered. Their father, Prince William, is said to have a vision for a modern monarchy that may shape the path they will take.

An insider revealed that Charlotte and Louis may not become full-time working royals, but could step in when needed and otherwise live relatively private lives. This approach would allow them to have a more normal upbringing while still being a part of the royal family.

On the other hand, Louise, 18, and James, 14, the children of Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, may find themselves taking on more public-facing roles. With the recent estrangement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, there may be a need for younger members of the royal family to step up and fulfill official duties.

Insiders suggest that Louise, in particular, could be drawn to a charity or military role, as she has shown an interest in these areas. With her family’s strong ties to the military, this could be a natural fit for her future role within the royal family.

As for Princess Beatrice’s daughter Sienna, 4, and Princess Eugenie’s sons August, 4, and Ernest, 2, they are not expected to take on official duties. However, Beatrice, who is one of the King’s Counsellors of State, may continue to play a role in ceremonial occasions.

Similarly, Zara Tindall’s three children are also likely to have limited involvement in official duties, with their presence reserved for major ceremonial events within the royal family.
