Prince Philip and Prince William Cautioned Harry About Relationship with Meghan Markle

Prince Philip was not the only royal family member who expressed concerns about Prince Harry’s relationship with Meghan Markle. According to reports, Prince William also felt “nervous” about their upcoming nuptials and advised Harry to take it slow.

In his controversial 2023 memoir Spare, Harry revealed that William had warned him about the pace of his relationship with Markle. “It’s too fast,” William had told him. “Too soon.” Harry also mentioned that William had been discouraging about him dating Meghan.

Despite the warnings from his family members, Harry chose to dismiss their concerns. It was reported that he felt pressured to marry Meghan quickly because he believed her “biological clock was ticking,” as she was nearing 35 years old. This information was revealed by royal author Tina Brown.
