Kim Matula and Alex FitzAlan have officially joined the cast of Season 2 of Netflix’s hit series, “The Hunting Wives.” Matula will take on the role of Nadia Kelly, while FitzAlan will portray Lincoln Trout. Although details about their characters have not been revealed yet, fans are already excited to see them in action.
The duo will be joining returning stars Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, and Branton Box in the upcoming season. The show, set in East Texas, follows Sophie O’Neil as she moves from the East Coast to deep East Texas, where she becomes entangled in a web of obsession, seduction, and murder orchestrated by socialite Margo, played by Akerman.
In Season 2, Sophie and Margo find themselves at odds with each other, but old secrets and new enemies bring them back together. As they navigate dangerous territory, the line between being the hunters or the hunted becomes blurred.
Matula is known for her work in the CBS soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful,” the Lifetime series “Unreal,” and the Fox comedy “L.A. to Vegas.” She also appeared in the Jason Reitman film “Saturday Night” in 2024. On the other hand, FitzAlan has made his mark in Season 2 of the Amazon Prime Video series “The Wilds” and in the films “Slender Man” and “Chevalier.”
“The Hunting Wives” is produced by Lionsgate and created by Rebecca Cutter, who also serves as the showrunner. The series is executive produced by Cutter, Cobb, and Erwin Stoff from 3 Arts Entertainment.
Originally set to air on Starz, Season 1 of “The Hunting Wives” was picked up by Netflix, branding Season 2 as a Netflix original. The new season is currently in production, with more casting announcements expected in the near future.
