HBO has officially renewed the popular late-night comedy series “It’s Florida, Man” for a third season, as announced by the network on Friday. The show, produced by Rough House Pictures, known for their work on “Eastbound & Down” and “The Righteous Gemstones,” takes real news stories from Florida and transforms them into comedic sketches with the help of a rotating cast of actors and comedians.

Real Floridians share their firsthand accounts of viral incidents, which are then reenacted with a touch of irreverent humor. Nina Rosenstein, executive vice president of HBO Programming, Late Night & Specials, expressed her excitement for the upcoming season, stating that Florida continues to provide an endless supply of wild and true stories for the show to explore.

Executive producer Danny McBride also chimed in, praising the state for its never-ending source of material. The second season of the series featured guest stars such as Adam DeVine, Tiffany Haddish, and Taika Waititi, among others, adding to the comedic flair of the show.

Created and executive produced by Mark Herwick for Range Studios and Jeff Tomsic, who also directs, “It’s Florida, Man” is described as a love letter to the unique charm of the state, showcasing the beaches, backwaters, and basements that make Florida a truly magical yet often misunderstood place.

For fans eager to catch up on the first two seasons, both are currently available for streaming on HBO Max. Stay tuned for more wild and hilarious Florida stories as the third season of “It’s Florida, Man” promises to deliver even more outrageous antics and unforgettable moments.
