WWE has made a firm decision to not bring back one of the all-time greats, John Cena, for any wrestling matches in the future. This update may disappoint many fans who were hoping to see Cena back in action.

John Cena, a four-time Tag Team Champion, recently announced his retirement after a long and successful 23-year career in wrestling. His final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event against Gunther ended in a loss, with Cena tapping out for the first time in two decades. This unexpected defeat left a bitter taste in the mouths of fans who have followed Cena’s career closely.

Following the match, Cena left his gear in the ring as a symbolic gesture to mark the end of his WWE journey. Throughout his career, Cena had an impressive championship resume, including multiple tag team title runs with wrestling legends like Edge, David Otunga, Batista, and The Miz.

According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE is adamant about not persuading Cena to come out of retirement. They have no plans to approach him for any future wrestling engagements. Even Cena’s father, John Cena Sr., has confirmed that there will be no rematch between Cena and Gunther or any return to the ring for his son.

Cena’s profile was moved to the alumni section of the WWE website after his retirement match, signaling the end of his active wrestling career. However, there is still a possibility that Cena may make sporadic appearances for the company in the future. Fans can only hope that he might return to settle the score with Gunther someday.

Despite his retirement from in-ring competition, John Cena’s legacy in the wrestling world remains strong. His contributions to the sport will always be remembered, and his presence will be missed by fans around the world. As Cena embarks on a new chapter post-wrestling, his impact on the industry will continue to resonate for years to come.
