Shawn Porter Says Terence Crawford Thought About Retiring ‘For A Long Time’

During the pre-fight press conference, Porter says Crawford mentioned he was ready to call it quits after his next fight … and Shawn tells us he knew that fight was gonna be his last one after he got in the ring with Canelo Alvarez.

Shawn says he saw something in Bud during their fight that led him to believe Crawford was ready to walk away from the sport … and he’s happy Terence is stepping away on his own terms.

Porter tells us Crawford’s boxing legacy is solidified … and he’s excited to see what the future holds for the undefeated champ outside of the ring.

As for Porter, he tells us he’s still undecided about his future in boxing … but says if he does hang up his gloves, he hopes his legacy in the sport will be remembered as one of the greats.
