The Nebraska volleyball team, led by player Taylor Landfair, recently concluded their 2025 season with an emotional post shared by Landfair on her Instagram. The team had an outstanding run throughout the season, remaining undefeated in the regular season. However, their journey came to an unexpected halt in the regional finals of the NCAA championships when they faced a heartbreaking loss against Texas A&M.
The Huskers put up a tough fight against Texas A&M but ultimately fell short, losing 3-2 in a closely contested match. Despite the loss, the team’s performance throughout the season was commendable, with standout players like Harper Murray, Rebekah Allick, and Bergen Reilly delivering top-notch performances.
In her Instagram post, Landfair expressed her gratitude and pride for her team, using the hashtag #GBR (Go Big Red). The post featured multiple pictures of her and her teammates on the court, capturing the bond and camaraderie they shared throughout the season.
Following the conclusion of the season, Harper Murray, another key player on the Nebraska volleyball team, spoke at a press conference about teammate Bergen Reilly’s exceptional performance despite facing personal struggles. Murray praised Reilly for her resilience and determination, highlighting her impact on the team despite not feeling her best.
During the game against Texas A&M, Reilly showcased her skills with 2 aces, 3 blocks, and 58 assists, demonstrating her invaluable contribution to the team. In the days that followed, Murray, Reilly, and Andi Jackson were also recognized with major honors for their outstanding performances throughout the season.
The Nebraska volleyball team’s journey in the 2025 season may have ended in disappointment, but the players’ dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship shone through in every game they played.
