CPD Seeks Public’s Help in Identifying Smiling Robbery Suspect

Chicago Police Department (CPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who allegedly battered and robbed a female passenger aboard a Red Line train in the Loop. The incident occurred around 10:10 p.m. on January 5 near Monroe Street.

According to CPD, the suspect aggressively attacked the victim and forcibly took her personal belongings. A CTA surveillance image of the suspect shows her smiling broadly, prompting authorities to urge anyone with information to come forward.
