Paris Hilton Opens Up About Her Family’s Wealth and Parenting Philosophy
Paris Hilton, the famous hotel heiress and reality TV star, recently revealed that she has not received financial support from her wealthy family since she was a teenager. Despite her family’s fortune and the Hilton hotel chain being sold in 2007, Paris has been financially independent since a young age.
Her grandfather, Barron Hilton, who passed away in 2019, left the majority of his fortune to charity rather than his heirs, including Paris. This decision has further solidified Paris’s self-reliance and work ethic.
Paris, who is now a mother to two young children with her husband Carter Reum, shared her parenting philosophy when it comes to passing on wealth to the next generation. She explained that she believes in teaching her children the value of hard work and independence, just as she learned at a young age.
With a son named Phoenix, 3, and a daughter named London, 2, both born via surrogate, Paris is focused on instilling the same sense of responsibility and self-sufficiency in her children that she has embodied throughout her life.
