The final resting place of 15-year-old Celeste Abigail Rivas Hernandez, whose body was discovered in singer D4vd’s abandoned Tesla in Hollywood, has been unveiled. The polished black granite headstone at Queen of Heaven Cemetery & Mortuary in Rowland Heights pays tribute to Celeste with a poignant portrait of her as an angel, surrounded by the Virgin of Guadalupe and etched butterflies.
The headstone, predominantly black and white, features an AI-generated image of the teenager. Celeste went missing from Lake Elsinore in early 2024, and authorities suspect she had been deceased for several weeks before being found in the trunk of the car.
In a recent development, Twitch streamer Neo Langston, a friend of the embattled musician D4vd, was arrested in Montana for failing to appear as a witness in a Los Angeles homicide investigation. Langston, 23, was taken into custody on an unspecified warrant issued by the Los Angeles Police Department.
The case surrounding Celeste’s death has gained momentum, with a grand jury already convened and witnesses providing testimonies. Reports indicate that a witness was labeled as “uncooperative” in December, leading to speculation about Langston’s involvement. Despite his arrest, Langston posted bail and was released from jail.
While D4vd initially cooperated with authorities, he has now been named as a person of interest in the investigation. Lyrics from one of his unreleased songs, a matching tattoo, and past Twitch streams have been scrutinized for clues related to Celeste.
Despite the ongoing developments, no formal charges have been brought against D4vd. The singer has maintained a low profile on social media since his tour was canceled amidst the scandal. The investigation into Celeste’s tragic death continues, with the hope of bringing justice to her memory.
